'MY JENNIFER' TO BE PERFORMED THROUGHOUT EUROPE
The musical composition 'My Jennifer' by John Ryan was chosen by Jane Elliott, Choreologist and Senior Teacher at The Hammond School in Chester England, to be choreographed and performed as a traditional ballet piece and premiered at their brand new Performing Arts Centre at ‘The Hammond School' in July of 2008. The piece is also scheduled to be performed by the Taudevin Dance Company during their Tour throughout Europe. Taudevin was established in 2001 as a touring dance company with performances throughout Europe and the UK incorporating many dance environments. The Company performs a variety of dance styles including classical and musical theatre repertoire alongside specially commissioned works from experienced choreographers.
An original composition by John Ryan has been licensed by Song and Film for use on HBO. Song and Film is a leading independent music licensing company, sought out by the world’s most talented artists for TV, Film, Interactive Media and Corporate Advertising.
John Ryan was hired by Panasonic Corporation to compose and perform a musical composition for their sponsorship of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. John Ryan performed his musical composition, "Go for the Gold" live next to a 103" Panasonic plasma screen at The Venetian & PalazzoCongressCenter in Las Vegas, Nevada.
